Latest Transfer Rumours

Apart from selling the old health and fitness club from down south not a lot has been happening on the transfer front of late although efforts will no doubt be continuing behind the scenes especially with regard to adding more width to the squad.

Latest rumours doing the rounds are Michael Brown to return which has been a constant rumour ever since he left and also Watford striker Darius Henderson to sign next week with Rob Hulse apparently talking to Derby.

If the Henderson thing is true he might not be a bad signing true he is not the most prolific goalscorer out there but he puts himself about and in this division having someone like that can be invaluable even if he is just coming off the bench for the last ten minutes to annoy opposing defenders.

The rumours linking Hulse with Derby have been going all summer so they obviously have some substance to them and although I would be sorry to see him go what I saw of him last season he did not really look like the player he was for us in the premiership although his appearances were limited after returning from injury and if it came down to a choice between keeping Beattie or Hulse then it would be Beattie every time for me.
