New Fixtures Released

The fixtures for the new season are out and like everyone else the first thing you are looking for is when we are playing the pigs but as far as the Sheffield derbies are concerned it is similar to last season.

Another strange one the computer has thrown up is Donny as both home and away matches against them fall on a Tuesday night so a midweek game against local rivals should contribute to the atmosphere.

The first game of the season against Birmingham City away is a tricky one and personally I will be glad to get it out of the way and the same goes for Derby County who we play a month later with a visit to Pride Park.

Teams like Birmingham and Derby should be there or thereabouts so my reasoning is it is much better to get them out of the way early doors before they have had time to adjust to life in the championship.
