A point away from home and at Ipswich of all places is not to be sniffed at largely since they have been a bit of a bogey team for as long as i can remember pity they could not hang on to the 1-0 lead but that is always the danger with us this season you get the feeling that if we are going to win we would definitely have to keep a clean sheet because if we score at all then it is more than likely going to be just the one goal.
We cannot claim to be good at many things this season but we do seem to be developing a habit for picking up draws whether they be nil-nils or score draws it really is time to start winning now only Scunthorpe and Colchester have won less games than we have in this division.
Michael Tonge was many peoples MOTM last night and since Kevin Blackwell took charge there is no doubt that Tonge has rediscovered some decent form in midfield which is obviously no coincidence so heres hoping he can get him back to something like the player that starred alongside Michael Brown and had Gerard Houllier interested and Liverpool's scouts watching him a few years ago.
As poor as this season has been there has always been the consolation knowing that it has usually been even worse for the pigs so a special thank you to Kevin Phillips and WBA for inflicting an injury time home defeat on our less than illustrious neighbours.
